Venkatesh Pate graduated from Mumbai’s J. J. Institute of Applied Art in 1983. He has worked as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer in India, France, and Australia. He has participated in numerous high profile art and design exhibitions both nationally and worldwide, including “The Forgotten Bombay” at Nehru Centre, Mumbai; “Femina Power of Pink Art Auction” at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai; “The Power of Peace” for the United Nation, Bali; The Sovereign Art Foundation group show, Hong Kong; “Indjapan” at the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo; 1x1 Art Gallery group show, Dubai; “Ethos 4” at Indigo Blue Art, Singapore; “Indiart” at New York Academy of Art; “One Two Three” group show at Museum Gallery, Mumbai; “India Art Summit”, New Delhi; “Metamorphosis” solo show at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai; “Modulation of Form” solo show at Indigo Blue Art, Singapore; “Art for India” event organised by IIFA at The Guggenheim Museum New York; “Your Singapore - The Black Frame Project” group show at Indigo Blue Art, Singapore; “A Symmetry” solo show at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. He lives and works in Lonavala and Mumbai.
